Rites Undone (2021)

RITES UNDONE is a 30 minute documentary about Nigerian sex work in Italy.

The film investigates the psychological methods of control used by human traffickers for sexual exploitation, and explores the epistemic challenges faced by European mental health workers seeking to offer therapy across cultural and religious divides.

Rites Undone is a collaboration between the Hidden Persuaders project. and the Derek Jarman lab. It was funded by the Wellcome Trust.
